Last night we made pitas for dinner. Everyone had a blast helping out!!! I think that it was the first time Phoebe, Elijah and Melody helped make them. They were good helpers. There is a trick to making pita bread. You have to have a real hot oven, then through the rolled dough directly on the oven racks. After about 3 minutes they puff up, and there's your pocket!!!

More Fun in the Snow

Here is another fun thing to do in the winter!!! When it's not too cold outside, we saddle up Joy and Cheyenne and go for a ride. It's so much fun, and I think that the horses love it too!!! Sorry that it's a little bumpy...enjoy!!!

Snow

Winter is lot's of fun!!! Well, it can be pretty cold and long too!!! But, our children have been having a blast these past few weeks. They love ice-skating with our neighbors, and sledding is always fun. Judah especially loves the snow. He hooks faithful Mary to the sled, and teaches her to pull it. I think that he has a dream of seven collies all pulling together. Maybe someday he can make that happen!!! Right now, it's too cold to build a snowman, but here's a picture of some that we made earlier this winter. One thing that I always think about when we have a lovely new snowfall is the verse that says: "Purge me with hyssop and I will be clean, wash me and I will be whiter than snow".

Today is our Annie's 16th birthday. Tonight we will have a big family celebration. Annie has grown into such a wonderful young woman. We are so thankful that the Lord gave her to us 16 years ago!
